What does the educator toolkit offer?

In this toolkit, you can find:

  • Pedagogical materials and practical guidance for effectively designing and delivering classes and workshops on Open Research topics to diverse audiences. These materials include core didactic skills, learner engagement strategies, Open Science leadership, and accessibility practices.

Develop your pedagogical skills!

  • Ready-to-use materials for teaching open research practices such as methodological foundations of Open Science, computational reproducibility, data management and sharing. This material consist of slides and activity sheets. Slides include presenter notes (intended narrative of the presentation), and further instructor notes (additional guidance intended only for the presenter such as didactic and accessibility tips). Simply select your intended target audience below and off you go!

Note

All materials are grounded in empirical and pedagogical theory. Depending on the topic, materials come in a variety of formats (Quarto slides, HTML, PDF, MS PowerPoint and Google Documents).
