**Welcome!** This workshop is intended to **provide future open research instructors and train-the-trainers** with core **teaching skills** to **deliver** Open Research workshops, seminars, lectures and courses etc. through a balanced mix of **theoretical elements** and **hands-on exercises** . Whether you are new to teaching or looking to sharpen your approach, this workshop will give you **theoretical and practical foundations** for designing engaging and effective teaching events focused on bringing Open Research closer to your learners.

- **Future open research train-the-trainers** and **educators** in higher education (e.g., universities, colleges) and

### Learning objectives

At the end of this session, you will be able to ...

- **Remember** basic didactic concepts as the foundation for learning success
- **Explain** and **compare** how knowledge can be organized depending on the level of expertise
- **Evaluate** the alignment between learning objectives, assessment types and teaching activities
- **Formulate** concrete learning objectives according to specific learning domains for real-world content
