The Open Science Initiative Psychology (OSIP) and the LMU Open Science Center (OSC) are please to welcome PD Dr. Ulf Tölch to present an introduction to meta research on November 17, 2022 from 14:00 to 15:00.

Abstract

Meta-research, or the science of science, allegedly improves your research. But how can you leverage this to identify and fix common problems in your own research? How can you engage in your own meta research? And will this be beneficial for your career? I will give an overview of current developments in the field and how these connect to your recent research endeavors.

Presenter’s short bio

PD Dr. Ulf Tölch is Head of research group ‘Education, Training & Quality in Research’ at the QUEST center for Responsible Research of the Berlin Institut of Heath from the Charité, Berlin.
