Welcome! This workshop is intended to provide learners with an overview of the key benefits and barriers of preregistration. The session first considers how benefits and opportunities of preregistration exist from individual researchers all the way to the wider research ecosystem. The session then provides opportunties for learners to practice improving elements of preregistration to build up familiarity and confidence in the process.
Who are these materials for?
- Educators in higher education with or without familiarity with open research planning to teach open research to novices
- Self-learners with no or limited familiarity with open research planning to develop and build up on their open research skills
