After a successful first session, we are excited to invite you to the next session of our journal club. The session will stand under the broad topic of dealing with uncertainty in empirical research, and with the session based on the paper „Facing The Unknowns of Data Analysis“ by Wagenmakers et al., we will take a look at the current methodological directions in the field of psychology in particular.

Procedure: A member of the organising team, Viktoria Wiegelmann, will summarise the paper by Wagenmakers et al. There will then be an open discussion where you can contribute your own thoughts and questions. Finally, there will be time to get to know each other and talk in smaller groups.

About the journal club: Here you can find further information about the concept of the journal club.

You are cordially invited to attend our upcoming meetings! To stay updated and receive notifications about these gatherings and the selected papers, you can either subscribe to our mailing list by clicking on this link: https://lists.lrz.de/mailman/listinfo/reproducibilitea, or you can send an email to reproducibilitea.munich@gmail.com. There is no requirement to have read the designated paper before each session, although it could be beneficial.

The organisation team is looking forward to seeing you at one of the next journal club sessions.
